When I came a year ago the building was still under construction. Originally with a flat roof and quite a different design. The builder wanted Natasha to change many things after the building was 3/4 built. She refused to do it all for 2 reasons. One, the building was already approved and a long process of getting changes approved was ahead,. Two: they wanted her to do it for free. The builder hired another Architect and did the changes but soon ran out of money. It was sold to another who hired yet another Architect after Natasha refused to make the changes, and came up with this building. The building is vacant as the city will not approve the building because of all the unapproved changes. The administration has insisted that they hire Miss Eremeeva to redraw the plans with the changes and submit them for approval. Natasha has accepted the offer just as soon as they put the building back the way she originally designed it.
We walked past the building and had lunch at a surprisingly good restaurant around the corner.
